Owen Roe Red Willow Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical 2007-2012

Planted in 1973, Red Willow Vineyard is one of Washington’s oldest vineyards and along with DuBrul, widely considered the best in Yakima Valley. In addition to the old vines, it is also Yakima’s coolest site and extremely rocky. This combination leads to perfect conditions for a long, even growing season and complex, age-worthy soil-driven wines. While DuBrul can be flashy in its youth, Red Willow benefits from time in the bottle. So, let’s go back a decade and take a look! Six wines, $30
