Although Tuscany is mostly dominated by one single red variety (Sangiovese), Tuscan reds come in many shades and moods depending on sub-region, winemaking, etc. Let's start the 2026 tasting calendar with a tour of Sangiovese from the hill towns of Montalcino and Montepulciano, Chianti Classico and more. To showcase a very different personality, we'll also pour a 20-year-old 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (2005) from a vineyard just outside of San Gimignano whose older vintage wines we have loved for years.
Come enjoy Sassetti Brunello di Montalcino 2019, Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2021, Isole y Olena Chianti Classico 2020, La Spinetta Il Nero di Casnova 2020 and Falchini Campora 2005. Nice wines all around!
