Inspired by the impressive Choucroute Garnie on the new Higgin's menu, I'm looking for more reasons to open wines from Alsace (Indian takeout is another favorite pairing). We will revisit old friends Zind-Humbrecht, Marcel Deiss, Jean Sipp and others with a focus on Riesling (dry), Pinot Blanc and field blends.
